PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict production of scrapings and protect a recording medium when a shutter member is to be set to a cartridge body by forming higher than a guide element an inclined guide part for guiding the guide element set to the shutter member to be engaged with a movement guide groove. SOLUTION: A shutter member 28 opens, closes a recording reproduction opening part of a disk cartridge 1 when a guide element 37 moves in engagement with a movement guide groove 35 of a cartridge body 4. In mounting the shutter member 28, the shutter member is inserted right to the cartridge body 4 from the side of a side wall. The guide element 37 moves sliding on an inclined guide 72, rides over a notched step part 73 and engages with the movement guide groove 35. A height H2 of the inclined guide part 72 is made larger than a height H3 of the guide element 37, thereby preventing the guide element 37 from colliding with the side wall of the cartridge body 4 and generating scrappings before sliding in touch with on the inclined guide part 72.
