PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for teaching and controlling robot that do not require a programmer to have sufficient knowledge on working or sensor, programming experience and programming at every time of changing an environment or work. SOLUTION: The robot controllerβis provided with a sensor module 1 for outputting a feature amount vector S1, a data base 5 storing a pair of the feature amount vector S1 at the time taught through an action teaching module 2 in the past in the case of teaching/control to a robot and a selection action S2, an action selecting module 6 for retrieving the feature amount vector S1 most similar to the feature amount vector S1 from the sensor module 1 out of the data base 5 based on the feature amount vector S1 at that time and outputting it to an action module 4 as an automatic selection action S4, and the action module 4 for executing the automatic selection action S4 to the robot.
