PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to confirm an object image after modification by applying image modification processing to a received object image by means of a set image modification method and displaying the object image after the modification. SOLUTION: Image modification parts are selected by an image modification part selection menu and modification layers corresponding to the selected parts are selected. Then a sample image stored in advance is replaced with the received user image. The parts of the received image that is specified by the selected modification layer is modified to a degree of the modification decided by layer parameters and a monitor display device displays the modified image. A degree of the modification can be selected by selecting the modification layers. In the case of changing a degree of modification with each modification layer, an image processing description file corresponding to the modified part is generated and stored in a memory of a computer 20. Then whether or not the image fetch device generates a sample image is discriminated, and in the case of generating the sample image, the sample image is generated by read image data and the modification processing is repeated to the sample image that denotes modified possible parts till the sample image generation is finished.
