PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network cable outlet for overhead power transmission permitting to easily secure a lot of access points, and also cope with a long distance transmission and simultaneous transmission from plural points. SOLUTION: This is a network cable outlet for overhead power transmission for connecting a halfway point of a coated optical fiber with a transmission device to transmit information to a monitoring center from a steel tower site by using the coated optical fiber on an optical fiber complex overhead earth wire. A receptacle 9 connected with both end parts made by cutting the halfway points of coated optical fibers 7A, 7B, and a box 1 for protecting this receptacle are provided. When information is not transmitted, a short-circuit member 6 is connected with the receptacle 9 to make both end parts of the cut coated optical fibers 7A, 8A in a connected state, and when information is transmitted, the short-circuit member 6 is removed and the transmission device is connected with the receptacle 9. |
