PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic pole position detector that is compact and light and where the magnetic pole position detection function of the dynamo-electric machine of a drive part can be operated normally, even when one position detector is broken by providing at least two sets of detection coil winding that does not share a magnetic circuit on a gap each other. SOLUTION: A position detector (resolver) 1 consists of a stator 2 and a rotor 3, a magnetic pole 41 and a yoke part 42 are formed at a stator core 4 of the stator 2, and a rotor core 6 of the rotor 3 is supported by the frame of the rotor 2 via a shaft 9 using a bearing or the like. In this case, a set of resolvers are composed of first excitation coil winding 5 and first output coil windings 7S and 7C, and the other one set of resolvers are composed of second excitation coil winding 5 and output coil windings 8S and 8C, thus excluding the sharing of a magnetic circuit, enabling the other set of resolvers to continue operating even if one set of resolvers fails, and composing a position detector capable of improving reliability, and miniaturization. |
