PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide an allowable error bit number based on a rainfall/snowfall meter and to correct the allowable error bit number by the error rate of received data. SOLUTION: This unique word detection circuit of a receiver used in digital communication is provided with a demodulator 3 for performing demodulation from received digital signals to base band signals, a shift register 4 for inputting the base band signals, a comparator 6 for comparing data inside the shift register 4 with the output data of a storage means storing a predetermined unique word pattern, a data error rate measurement device 8 for measuring the data error rate of the base band signals, the rainfall/snowfall meter 1 for measuring the rainfall/snowfall degree near an antenna for receiving the reception digital signals, an allowable error bit number decision circuit 2 for deciding the allowable error bit number corresponding to the rainfall/snowfall degree and an allowable error deviation circuit 9 for outputting an allowable error deviation by the allowable error bit number and the data error rate. Corresponding to the allowable error deviation, the allowable error bit number is corrected. |
