PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of unbalanced voltages in a transmission line so as to prevent the abnormal vibration and heating of equipment, by connecting a reactor having a mutual inductance between the first and third phases of the line having three phases and another reactor having a self- inductance to the second phase. SOLUTION: When an unbalanced voltage compensating device is used, an unbalanced voltage component is compensated by connecting a mutual inductance I13 between the A- and C-phases of a transmission line and causing a mutual induced voltage. Consequently, the mutual inductance component of the induced voltage in a circuit is also balanced among three phases between buses 1 and 2. However only the self-inductances I11 and I33 (I11=I33) in A- and C-phases increase due to a connected reactor 5, a balance is obtained among the three phases by connecting another reactor 6 to the B-phase so as to increase the self-inductance by I22. Since such an induced voltage that offsets the unbalanced component of the induced voltage generated among transmission lines 3 is generated, the occurrence of unbalanced voltages among buses 2 can be reduced. |
