PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent image recording sheet for an OHP which has a simple structure and smooth surface and which can be mass-produced at a low cost from an easily available material, by using cellophane for the surface layer. SOLUTION: This transparent image recording sheet for an OHP(overhead projector) consists of a transparent plastic film 2 as a supporting body and a cellophane film 1 applied on one surface of the film 2. A color image or photograph is printed by an ink-jet printer or laser printer on the surface of the cellophane. As for the cellophane film 1, a film treated with a surface sizing agent, if required, and a film without treatment can be used. The proper thickness of the cellophane film 1 is controlled to 3 to 100 g/m2 calculated as the basis weight. As for the adhesive to adhere the cellophane film 1 and the supporting body, an epoxy, acrylic or UV-curing adhesive is preferably used.
