PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the color of a color image as expected by the operator in the case of converting the color of the color image into other color. SOLUTION: A saturation identification section 23 identifies the saturation of an RGB signal in a color space, and a hue area identification section 24 identifies the hue area of the RGB signal in the color space.
