PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit production with high pattern accuracy and high reliability at a low cost by forming black matrices by utilizing an electrodeposition method and forming colored parts in the apertures of the black matrices with the black matrices as barriers. SOLUTION: The black matrices 7 are formed by depositing a black resin composition on patterned conductive layers 2 by an electrodeposition method (electrodeposition coating method) by using these conductive layers as electrodes. The enhancement of the water repelling property of the black matrices 7 is effective for perfect prevention of the color mixing of the inks 9 to be imparted to the apertures and, for this purpose, a water repelling agent is preferably previously added to an electrodeposition liquid. The black matrices 7 are formed at above 1 μm in thickness. The inks 9 of R (red), G (green) and B (blue) are imparted by an ink jet head 8 along the prescribed coloring patterns. Next, the inks 9 are cured by subjecting the inks to a drying treatment, etc., then to heating or photoirradiation, etc., and necessary treatments, by which colored parts 10 are formed. |
