PRODUCTION OF IDENTIFICATION DISPLAY BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an identification display body to which distinct identification displays are attached and which can be easily read by various kinds of readers. SOLUTION: This process for production consists of a stage for printing the surface of a fluororesin molding 1a subjected to a chemical etching treatment with prescribed identification displays 6 with inks mixed with coloring materials, a stage for decoloring the surface portions subjected to the chemical etching treatment and to which the identification displays are not attached by subjecting the fluororesin molding 1a printed with the identification displays 6 to an oxidation treatment by an oxidizing agent, and a stage for forming a laminate 10 by laminating substantially transparent resin sheets on the surface of the fluororesin molding and fusing this laminate 10 with a metal mold by thermal compression molding. The identification display obtained by this process is distinct and is not easily erasable.
