PURPOSE: A flame holder for a heater is provided to prevent a formation of swirl causing an incomplete combustion of the fuel. CONSTITUTION: A flame holder(50) is equipped with many slits(52) running at the specific angle with the direction of a radiation(51a) frame the inner hole(51). Due to the angle of the slit, a flow(F) of the fluid passing through the slit is connected with a next slit(52'). As the flow of the fluid passes through the slit, it does not leave a deposit of soot made by unburned fuel. The burned gas is discharged to outside after providing heat to the room air in the process of heat exchange. As new air is supplied continuously by a fan(2) and the burning continues in the flame holder, the room temperature goes up. |
