PURPOSE: A debugging methode at performing an initial setup of mobile communication system is provided find easily errors of each part by using a loop back flag. CONSTITUTION: The debugging methode at performing an initial setup of mobile communication system comprises the steps of: listening a sound from a mobile station through a PSTN telephone by Base Transmitter Station(BTS) and Base Station Controller(BSC) and listening a sound from the PSTN telephone if a loop back mode flag is 0; listening own sound through a mobile station and listening own sound at land if a loop back mode flag is 1; listening own sound at land without the mobile station if a loop back mode flag is 2; and debugging only BSC without Mobile Switching Center(MSC) if a loop back mode flag is 3.
