PURPOSE: The present invention is intended to provide a method dialing automatically a telephone number a user want to dial. CONSTITUTION: A method dials automatically the desired telephone number of the other part if a user inputs a character such as a name or a place name using a mobile telephone comprising a character button. The method comprises the steps of: inputting the character into the mobile telephone; retrieving a memory of the mobile telephone for the inputted character; and transmitting a telephone number corresponding to the inputted character. The method performs the procedure of retrieving database of a personal computer according to the result of the retrieval and the procedure of retrieving database provided by a service enterprise.
