PURPOSE: An optical recording medium, method for displaying recording capacity, and recording/reproducing method using the same is provided, which displays a recording capacity of an optical disk capable of rerecording. CONSTITUTION: A recording/reproducing method comprises the steps of: (501, 502)recording a new recording capacity and a variation presence of the recording capacity to a recording capacity display region and a variation presence display region of the recording capacity when the recording capacity is varied; (503) checking as to whether a recording or a reproducing is selected by a user; (504) checking as to whether the recording capacity is displayed to the recording capacity variation display region when the recording or the reproducing is selected; (505) recording or reproducing data recorded in an embossing data zone of a read-in region; and (506) recording or reproducing data recorded in a rerecording data zone of the read-in region. Thereby, it is possible to perform the recording or reproducing of an accurate amount of data.
