AERIAL STEM TUBERS AS AN ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM FOR SEED TUBER PRODUCTION

摘要

There is described a method of production of aerial seed potatoes comprising the supply of potato tubers and a growing medium. The method also includes the steps of creation and provision of the requisite growing conditions for the potato tubers including a restriction of the supply of carbohydrates to the tubers. A potato tuber and potato plant produced by the method are also described.
