PURPOSE: A device and a method of automatic fuel change of a vehicle are provided to automatically replace fuel for LPG vehicles and gasoline vehicles at desired time. CONSTITUTION: A device of automatic fuel change of a vehicle for both LPG and gasoline is composed of: an RPM sensing part(130) to sense the rotation frequency of an engine rotating by the operation of an accelerator pedal; a first cut off valve(150) to cut off the supply of fuel between a vaporizer and the engine; a second cut off valve(80) to control the supply of LPG; a third cut off valve(90) to control the supply of gasoline by being interlocked to the second cut off valve and opened and closed; a switching part(100) to switch the second cut off valve and the third cut off valve by being interlocked; and an ECU(140) to generate a certain control signal to the switching part on the basis of the predetermined RPM and to change the fuel supply. The device has economical advantage according to the display of the residual fuel via one display part and able to check the residual amount of the fuel all the time by being corresponding to the present fuel supply mode.
