<p>Skin care products in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion having a pearlescent appearance when they contain: (A) 0.5-5.0 % by weight of a phospholipid; (B) 2-10 % by weight of one or more lipids of formula R1-O-R2, wherein R1 is a primary, linear alkyl, alkenyl or acyl group with 20-30 C atoms and R2 is hydrogen or a hydroxyalkyl group with 2-6 C atoms and 1-5 hydroxyl groups, and (C) optionally up to 20 % by weight of additional oil and fatty compositions, with the proviso that the latter do not constitute more than 70 % by weight of the sum of (A+B+C); (D) 0.1-2.0 % by weight of an oil-in-water emulsifier and (E) 70-95 % by weight of water. Preferably, a natural phosphatide is contained as phospholipid and a behenyl alcohol is contained as lipid of formula R1-O-R2.</p> |
