PURPOSE: A method for indexing automatic brake for a voice synthesis is provided, which automatizes a hand-operated brake indexing method and improve the accuracy of the brake indexing method by a voice recognizing device and a post-processing algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A method for indexing automatic brake for a voice synthesis comprises the steps of: dividing a database into a phoneme using a voice recognizing device; computing a mean length to an all phoneme using a phoneme stored in the database; computing a word phrase boundary length parameter which means a length between the start of a last phoneme of a current wore phrase and the end of start phoneme of a next word phrase and computing a mean length parameter; computing the rate of the word phrase boundary length parameter and the mean length parameter; and determining the degree of a brake according to the computed rate. Thereby, it is possible to save the manufacturing cost and improve the synthesis voice. |
