PURPOSE: A vehicle control method according to the detection of a slope is provided to decelerate by detecting a slope using the difference between the obliterating points of a straight road and a slope. CONSTITUTION: A control method has the steps of: detecting the image data of the front side and detecting a lane through a lane data among detected image data (S1); judging the detected lane as a slope(2) if the detected lane is placed on an obliterating point(A) of a straight road(1) and the obliterating point is not the same as a horizontal line(S2); and decelerating by outputting 'slope traveling' to a transmission control unit if the detected road is the slope(S3).
