PURPOSE: A voice communication apparatus is provided to perform a bidirectional voice communication using a stereo television and a business power line without an additional equipment. CONSTITUTION: The voice communication apparatus using a television and a business telephone line comprises a transmission circuit (20) and a reception circuit. The transmission circuit (20) modulates a voice signal using a frequency higher than a power frequency and transmits the modulated signal through the business power line (10). The transmission circuit includes a carrier generator (22) for generating a carrier, a frequency modulator (24) for loading an input voice signal on the carrier to output, a radio frequency pass filter (28) for filtering the modulated signal by a radio frequency bandwidth to output the filtered signal to the power line. The reception circuit filters a received signal through the power line by a radio frequency bandwidth to detect a voice signal.
