PURPOSE: A production method is provided to form a round shape without forming an additional cutting part at the side contacted when bending the round part of four apexes of an exterior member. CONSTITUTION: An exterior member for construction is produced by the steps of: oppressing an oppressing point of a protrusion(22) as vertically descending a forming end(25a) having a larger diameter when round-forming a protrusion(22) by lowering a pressure roller(25), rounding an apex of a first curved line(12) which is an ornament surface part(14) by a forming process of the protrusion part(22) by a pressure roller(25) and a mold(23) as rounding a side part(15), lengthening a cut part(21) which is a section face of the protrusion(22) by a difference of a diameter as projecting a transformation protrusion part(22a) at the end of it, and cutting the transformation protrusion part(22) as a second curved line(13) to produce exterior material(10) not having a cut groove on a surface(14).
