PURPOSE: A program searching method is provided to give accommodation to a user by selecting a desired program displaying each program through divided screens when a plurality of programs are transferred through one channel. CONSTITUTION: The method for searching a program among a plurality of transferred programs multiplexed comprises the steps of: detecting program information associated with the multiplexed program, respectively; displaying the program information at plural sub regions on an image mapped screen; and if one of the plural sub regions is selected by a user, displaying a program corresponding to the selected sub region. In the step of detecting, an image information of a frame is detected at each program, and is a reference image information which is inserted for a random search. |
