UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS TYPE PERIPHERY EQUIPMENT AND DATA STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A universal serial bus type periphery equipment and data structure are provided to make a host computer using an USB type interface recognize quantity of the power consumption of each the periphery equipment, exactly and to effectively devide the power according to the power consumption of the periphery equipment. CONSTITUTION: A universal serial bus type periphery equipment comprises a storing mean storing the power control value and a controller(506), and makes the storing mean receive the power control value and generate a power control signal, thereby making the power control signal be transformed to the controller. A universal serial bus type data structure comprises: a request type field(bmRequestType) showing a property of a request; a request field(bRequest) showing the kind of the request and in which a power control request used in power control for periphery equipments is assigned; and a value field(wValue) in which the quantity of the power being controlled by the power control request is assigned.
