<p>The invention concerns a portable station for processing data comprising data processing means (10, 11, 12) and communication means (20, 30) capable of exchanging data with another station equipped with compatible communication means. The communication means (20, 30) include a transmission/reception module by direct mode channel (20) operating according to at least a specific data transmission/reception protocol and a module monitoring the zone (40, 50) to detect therein the presence of compatible stations, as well as a local communication module (30) co-operating with the various modules (40, 50, 20, 10, 11, 12) to operate the transmission/reception module according to the specific protocol, when the monitoring module detects a station, then to initialise a dynamic connection with said station, to exchange data according to the specific protocol format, and maintain said connection as long as the station remains detected.</p> |
