<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a vernier metal fitting which can reduce the cost and can raise the work efficiency and a method of adjusting the slackness of an aerial transmission line using it. SOLUTION: A vernier metal fitting 1 is interposed between a tension clamp holding an aerial transmission line and an insulator attached to the support of a steel tower or the like. The vernier metal fitting 1 is constituted so that the length can be adjusted by interposing an inner plate 4 between a pair of plates 2 and 3, thereby enabling the mutual positions to be adjusted in longitudinal direction, and that the outer plates 2 and 3 and the inner plate 4 can be coupled with each other in the specified adjustment position, and further the outer plates 2 and 3 have engagement projections 2a and 3a and the inner plate 4 has engagement holes 8a-8c as the engagement parts for engaging an adjustment tool. The coupling condition between the outer plates 2 and 3 and the inner plate 4 is released by engaging the adjustment tool with the vernier metal fitting 1, and the positional adjustment is performed together with the adjustment tool.</p> |
