<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plow blade usable for plowing grooves on the sea bottom for burying submarine cable, by providing a plurality of nozzles connected to a shank extended downward and a projecting section which is swept downward for breaking tough soil and controlling the depth of the shank when grooves are plowed. SOLUTION: A front plowing face 6 having a center line CP drawn in the longitudinal direction is provided with the front face of the plow blade of a shank 1 having a front plowing area 3 and extended downward, and the area 3 is divided into first and second jetting surfaces 3a and 3b by the center line CP. Front plowing wedges having internal angles of about 60 deg. are formed on the first and second jetting surfaces 3a and 3b and, at the same time, eight water spray nozzles which are depressed in nozzle holes 5 are provided. The shank 1 extended downward is provided with a ripper 7 which is swept downward for breaking tough soil and controlling the depth of the shank 1 in the soil. Particularly, the advance of the ripper 7 in the direction V generates a downward force F which offsets such a force that makes the plow blade to come off and 'slip up'.</p> |
