MOBILE COMPUTER DEVICE, ADDRESS INFORMATION MANAGING METHOD, AND ADDRESS SOLVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform address solving fast without flashing an ARP table by storing information on the correspondence relation between the link layer address of a node obtained on a subnetwork at a movement destination and its network layer address and deleting addresses meeting specific conditions which do not depend upon the inter-subnetwork movement. SOLUTION: The subnet information list 611 at the head of a list and ARP entries 621 and 622 correspond to a current subnet. When movement is detected, the mobile computer traces the linked list of subnet information and starts ARP processing by using corresponding subnet information when it is found. When there is no subnet information, a subnet information entry is generated newly and a new ARP entry is generated and processed. An address solving part 6 does not flash the held ARP entry, but deletes it later when the movement is detected.
