PURPOSE: An electrolyte for driving an aluminum electrolysis capacitor is provided to make the capacitor endure an instant high voltage by maintaining a spark voltage over 500V to 650V and having an operation voltage over 450V. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for driving an aluminum electrolysis capacitor employs a main solvent agent such as etylene glycogen or dietylene glycogen of 80%. The contained quantity of ammonium undecandionate as a main solute of the electrolyte is 15%. The contained quantity of ammonium octadecandionate or ammonium eicosandionate as a sub solute is 5%.
