PURPOSE: A remote self-diagnosis system of a vehicle through a mobile telecommunication terminal and an operation method thereof are provided to examine a vehicle remotely through a mobile telecommunication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A remote self-diagnosis system of vehicle comprises: a mobile telecommunication terminal(130) for performing radio transmission/reception of character data; a data converting unit(120) for receiving a self-diagnosis data generated from an electronic controlling unit(110) of the vehicle, converting the self-diagnosis data into a character data, and transmitting the converted character data to the mobile telecommunication terminal; and a service center system(500) for receiving the character data transmitted in radio to responding to an incoming call from the mobile telecommunication terminal, converting the received character data to a self-diagnosis data, generating a solving way in a character data corresponding to the self-diagnosis data, and transmitting the generated solving way to the mobile telecommunication terminal. Thus, the system makes it possible to diagnose the vehicles remotely, thereby providing user's convenience. |
