PURPOSE: A voice portal service system and method in communication network using a voice recognition/synthesis is provided, which recognizes a voice of a user through a handy phone, a PC, or a wire telephone to inform the user as a voice. CONSTITUTION: A voice portal service method in communication network using a voice recognition /synthesis comprises the steps of: digitalizing a voice signal inputted through a handy phone, a PC, or a wire telephone; comparing the digitalized voice data with data stored in a voice recognition database of a server system and searching a same character according to the comparing result; searching a character information related to an extracted character in a corresponding data base; searching a voice to a character related to the searched character information in a voice synthesis database of the server system; and constructing a personal database to a personal directory of the server system using a wire/wireless communication network. Thereby, it is possible to automatically call a telephone using a wire/wireless communication network. |
