A disk device comprising an elastic engagement (58e) provided on a slider rack (58) for permitting the slider rack (58) to return a slider lock (70) to its initial position during an operation, in which a disk (D) is ejected from a turntable (an injector operates), and a chassis (2) formed with a cam portion (2a) which pushes the elastic engagement (58e) toward the slider lock to engage the same with an engagement (70f) of the slider lock (70).
