<p>A gas generator composition excellent in combustion efficiency and gas generation efficiency and reduced in the generation of a combustion residue. The composition comprises (a) 5 to 40 wt.% at least one polymeric compound selected among an acrylic polymer, polyacetal, urea resin, melamine resin, ketone resin, and cellulosic polymer and (b) 60 to 95 wt.% ammonium nitrate or phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate. It is suitable for use as a gas generator for automotive airbags.</p> |
