A gardening composting bin, is new and has an inner chamber (9), a surrounding wall (6) and a lid (10) covered aperture through which refuse is inserted. The wall (9) shoulder zone incorporates one or more secondary chambers (2) for soil and living plants. Each chamber (2) is connected to the bin chamber (9) by an air hole, and has suitable apertures to the bin outer shoulder through which the living plants project.
