PURPOSE: A control method of a clutch is provided to prevent sliding backward of a vehicle when starting again after stopping on an uphill road. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a clutch has the steps of: operating a clutch for connecting an engine to a transmission while operating a brake pedal as a vehicle is in the state of stopping; stopping the operation of the clutch if an accelerating pedal is operated while operating the clutch as not operating the brake pedal. The operation prevents sliding backward of a vehicle when stepping off from the brake pedal when starting in an uphill road.
