PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the identification and edition of data and to simplify the instruction manipulation at division time in processing to divide one series of playing data to plural systems of playing data respectively correspondent to the plural strings of stringed instruments, such as guitars. SOLUTION: The playing data of a track Trk1 is divided by six in correspondence to the six strings of the guitar. The playing data corresponding to the first string to the sixth string are stored in the tracks Trk5 to 10 of consecutive numbers, respectively. The data indicating that the data is the tablature as the identification data discriminating the track Trk1 and the tracks Trk5 to 10 is stored by each of the respective tracks of the Trk5 to 10. The tablature Q for the six strings is displayed in accordance with the stored data of the tracks Trk5 to 10 on a screen 40b in response to the selection of the track of any among the Trk5 to 10. At the time of the division, the playing data of the track Trk1 is saved and is put into a muting state. The number of the divisions may be divided by referencing the timbre set data in the playing data of the track Trk1. |
