The station has heat exchangers in pressure buffer, and collection containers with media for alternate solution heating and cooling as required. The thermal power station has at least one collection container (1) which includes a heat exchanger (4) for holding a liquid/gas solution. There are at least two pressure containers (10,30) each including a heat exchanger (13,33) connected at the inlet and outlet sides respectively of the collection container. There is also a buffer container (22) with an integrated heat exchanger (26) to reheat the solution. A liquid turbine (18) drives an electricity generator (19). The heat exchangers in the pressure containers, buffer container and collection container are provided with media for alternately heating the solution as required, and for cooling the solution respectively.
