The invention relates to a process for producing a thermoelectric converter comprising a plurality of thermoelement cells which are connected in series. The thermoelement cells are connected in series by a plurality of first electric conductive tracks (3). Each conductive track comprises a first body (4) having a first type of conductivity consisting of thermoelectric material and a second body (5) having a second type of conductivity consisting of thermoelectric material. The thermoelement cells are produced by process steps known from semiconductor technology.
