PREPARATION METHOD OF COMPOSITION FOR PREPARATION OF REACTION-BONDED SILICON CARBIDE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing composite is provided, for the preparation of reaction-bonded silicon carbide and the improvement of strength between particles. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal body of multi component silicon carbide is prepared by adding two or more types of silicon carbide powders having different size to a polymer solution of different molecular weight, respectively; ball milling to obtain a slurry wherein the polymer is adsorbed onto the surface of silicon carbide; mixing the slurries to make a homogeneous slurry, injecting into a mold and performing the centrifugal forming; removing the excess slurry and re-performing the centrifugal forming; and drying the centrifugal body and releasing. The centrifugal body of multi component silicon carbide-carbon is prepared by the same method except obtaining a carbon slurry wherein the polymer is adsorbed onto the surface of carbon and mixing the above mentioned slurries. The centrifugal body of composite for multi component silicon carbide-carbon-metal powder is prepared by the same method except obtaining the above mentioned carbon slurry and a metal slurry wherein the polymer is adsorbed onto the surface of a metal and mixing with the slurries. The polymer is polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinyl acetate.
