PURPOSE: A three-dimension image generating apparatus is provided to obtain a stable cubic effect of a picture in various motion types. CONSTITUTION: In the three-dimension image generating apparatus, a picture extracting part(100) extracts respective picture data from MPEG-coded data, and a dynamic vector generating part(110) generates dynamic vectors corresponding to macro blocks in a picture consisting of the extracted picture data to supply the generated dynamic vectors to a dynamic vector filed constitution part(120). A picture storing part(160) stores pictures reconstructed from the extracted picture data by K, and a motion type determining part(130) determines a motion type of a present picture using the dynamic vectors supplied from the dynamic vector filed constitution part. A cubic picture generating part(140) generates a synthesis picture corresponding to the present picture using previous pictures stored in the picture storing part and the determined motion type, and outputs the present picture and the synthesis picture. A right/left picture determining part(150) receives the present picture and the synthesis picture, and determines the received present picture as either one of a right picture and a left picture consisting of a cubic image and the synthesis pictures as the other. |
