PURPOSE: A system and a method for model based predictive control of batch process integrating quality control function is provided to perform simultaneously a trace control function, a quality control function, and an iterative learning control function. CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for model based predictive control of batch process integrating quality control function comprise an estimation portion(42), a predictive portion(44), a calculation portion(46), and a process control portion(48). The estimation portion estimates an output error within a total section of a current batch and an optimum filtered value of a quality variable control error posterior to a batch operation finish by using a process function model. The predictive portion predicts the output error posterior to the current time and the quality variable control error posterior to the batch operation finish by using the process model function, the estimation portion, and the estimated value of the estimation portion. The calculation portion makes an object function and calculates an input variable locus for minimizing the object function. The process control portion controls an object process according to the input variable locus.
