TREATING METHOD OF SLUDGE, DUST AND BLAST FURNACE SLAG FROM IRONMAKING PROCESS

PURPOSE: Cement having excellent quality is provided, which is excellent in process stability, easy to feed, reduces the cost of raw material, and solves the environmental pollution caused by sludge, dust or blast furnace slag in iron making process. CONSTITUTION: 20 to 60 weight % of sludge(11) and dust(12) mixture, sludge or dust are stored in sludge feeding hopper(15) or dust feeding hopper(16) then transferred to mixer(19) according to the certain rate by using belt conveyor(17) installed at the lower part of the hopper, hopper(18) for the mixture of sludge and dust. 40 to 80 weight % of blast furnace slag are mixed with 5 to 40 % (desirably 10 to 25 %)of water content. Average particle size of manufactured mixture tested by sieving method is 5 to 50 mm. Water content of the mixture needs to be controlled between 5 and 40 % because of dusting and non-homogeneity of the mixture. The mixture can be added up to maximum 20 weight % in cement manufacturing.
