<p>A method for displaying information on a desktop so as to help the user visually grasp and conceptually obtaining information with ease. A representative of the character strings in source data is converted into image data as an object and displayed on the desktop. Once the image data is designated, the source data related to the image data can be accessed. By glancing at image data displayed on the display screen, that is, an object that symbolizes the source data, the user can understand the content of the source data, thereby extremely easily judging whether to read the source data or not.</p> |
