The aim of the invention is to provide a simple solution for the guidance of the rocker arm on the valve stem of a sheet metal rocker arm. To this end, sections of the side walls of a rocker arm having a U-shaped cross-section are cut out and tilted downwards. These sections guide the rocker arm on the valve.
