CONDUIT FITTING FOR TERMITES

A conduit fitting (10) for location on or in a conduit (12). The combined fitting and conduit are embedded in a concrete slab and the combination prevents white ants from passing through the slab. The fitting comprises at least: a body (18) having an aperture (20) therethrough and into which the conduit (12) can extend in use; and a flange (22) formed from a material at times different to the body but being impenetrable to white ants. The flange (22) extends out from and around the perimeter of the body (10), and part of the flange is embedded in and extends right through the body to the aperture around the perimeter thereof.
