PURPOSE: A converging apparatus for a color Braun tube is provided to selectively adjust an object electron beam so as to linearly estimate the adjusting effect. CONSTITUTION: A converging apparatus comprises a block magnet which is formed as a single body, and mounting means which supports the block magnet with respect to an outer circumference of an electron beam passage and guides the block magnet in a radial direction of the outer circumference. The mounting means is a ring shaped auxiliary holder which is mounted to a holder of the converging apparatus. The auxiliary holder is formed with at least one mounting groove for guiding and supporting the block magnet. The four sides of the block magnet is formed into a rectangular or a square shape. A symbol, which indicates from N pole to S pole, is marked on an upper face or a lower face of the block magnet. Thereby, a very excellent converging feature in the color Braun tube can be accomplished.
