PURPOSE: A network-based advertisement operating system and method thereof are provided to suggest a new advertising technology to show goods advertisement by adding advertising goods to a motion picture file supplied through network and by providing the associated additional information when user selects the goods during the reproduction of the motion picture. CONSTITUTION: The network-based advertisement operating system comprises: a server computer(200) that stores motion picture files and additional information; a multiplicity of client computers(100) that is connected by the server computer(200) and the network and that reproduces the motion picture file on web browser; and an additional information server computer(400) that transmits the additional information to the client computer(100) in response to the message transmitted from the server computer(200).
