<p>An ATM switched network having an ATM exchange accommodating a transmission side subscriber and a reception side subscriber, for interconnecting communication devices according to the protcols without causing any problem attributed to the difference of edition of the protcols. An ATM exchange for realizing a method of repeating quality report information in such an ATM network finds the correction principle of quality of service (QOS) for eliminating the difference between the subscriber signal protocol supported by the transmission side subscriber and the subscriber signal protocol supported by the reception side subscriber, generates corrected quality control information based on the service quality correction principle, controls the connection reception and the amount-of-use parameter on the basis of the generated quality control information, and then sends, the quality control information to the reception side subscriber.</p> |
