PURPOSE: An antibacterial and deodorizing material provides an antibiotic and deodorizing function for a product that is brought in direct contact with the skin, such as diaper, bandage, mask, sanitary napkin, wet tissue, etc. CONSTITUTION: To fabricate the antibacterial and deodorizing material, an acid or an organic substance is first added to a 1B family metal to prepare a metal compound. The metal compound is reacted with paper, cellulose, polyethylene or polypropylene into a metal oxide. The metal oxide is heated at a low temperature of 45 to 80 deg.C for 24 to 48 hours and supplied with oxygen to produce a second metal compound. The metal compound is then treated with an atmospheric gas and supplied with oxygen. The 1B family metal is copper(Cu). The copper is finally reacted with a sterilizing product so that the metal is adsorbed to the sterilizing product. |
