The crossover channels (22,23) for the first (12) and second (16) water flow areas issue close to a temperature sensor (21) and the water guide channel (14) runs along a third wall (18) in the connecting rim, with the crossover channels also running along within the rim parts and constructed to identical length in the wall (24) of the tank though the flow section of the crossover channels (22,23) is appreciably less than that of the water feed channel (15). The heating element (20) is arranged between two dividing walls (20) which in turn form a flue type space within the inner container and with the sensor (21) set outside the flue space in the center of the inner container. The heating element (2) reaches into the inner container from one side wall used to split the container into flow chambers. The second tank shell forms the cover of the tank so that water and crossover channels (15,22,23) lie within the first shell of the tank if not partly in both shells.
